Printing & Etching Terms

1. Artwork Approval & Accuracy

The Customer is solely responsible for final proofing, including spelling, layout, and quantities. By approving a proof, the Customer accepts the design as-is and indemnifies the Company against any costs arising from errors discovered after production has commenced.

2. Colour Reproduction & PMS Matching

The Pantone Matching System (PMS) is used as a guide only. Due to the non-porous nature of glass and batch firing variations, exact colour matches cannot be guaranteed.

3. Pour Line Accuracy (NMI Compliance)

Where pour lines (Plimsoll lines) are requested, they are applied to meet the National Measurement Institute (NMI) standards for beverage measures.

  • Tolerances: Placement and volume accuracy are governed by the Maximum Permissible Error (MPE) as defined in NMI General Certificate of Approval 4/1/0.
  • Liability: The Company accepts no liability for discrepancies in poured volume that fall within these legally prescribed NMI tolerances.

4. Customer-Supplied Materials

Goods supplied by the Customer are decorated at the Customer’s own risk. The Company is not liable for breakage during transport or the printing process, nor can we guarantee ink adhesion or durability on third-party materials.

5. Intellectual Property & Indemnity

The Customer warrants they own or have obtained all necessary licenses for any trademarks or logos provided for reproduction. The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company against all claims, damages, and legal fees arising from any third-party allegation of intellectual property infringement.

6. Claims & Inspection Period

Any claims for breakages, shortages, or quality issues must be made in writing within 7 days of delivery. Failure to notify the Company within this timeframe constitutes full acceptance of the goods.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the specific services or products provided. We are not liable for any consequential losses, such as loss of profits or business interruption.

8. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supply chain disruptions, transport delays, or equipment failure.

9. Abandoned Orders

Any customer-supplied goods left on our premises for more than 60 days following a completed or cancelled order may be disposed of or sold to recover storage costs.
